My name is Esperanza. At present, I’m a PhD student in Algebra at University of Granada (Spain), from where I also got my degree (BSc) in Mathematics and my master’s degree (MSc). For the next years, my investigation will be focused on the study of weak Hopf algebras and groupoids from a categorical point of view. My current research interests are in noncommutative algebra and include category theory, weak Hopf algebras, the (weak) theory of (bi, Hopf) monads, Frobenius algebras, weak multiplier Hopf algebras, etc.
